InnoGenomics Technologies is dedicated to the development of innovative genetic testing solutions that solve crimes and save lives.
With the support of National Science Foundation SBIR grants, we have developed novel patented technology that is scalable across a wide range of applications including forensic and missing person identification, relationship and ancestral ethno-geographic establishment, and molecular diagnostics.
Our scientific team has in-depth expertise in molecular biology, forensic genetics and molecular diagnostics; and our management team has over 85 combined years of experience in successful biotechnology commercialization. Together, we are focused on harnessing the power of genomics to transform healthcare and forensic investigations.
Sudhir Sinha, Ph.D.
CEO and President
With over 36 years of experience in chemical and biochemical research and management, Dr. Sinha is well-recognized in the international scientific community, authoring numerous research papers, holding multiple patents, and having presented his work at many international conferences. He has chaired workshops and scientific sessions at the American Academy of Forensic Sciences and the American Association of Blood Banks annual meetings. Dr. Sinha is a court qualified expert in molecular biology and DNA analysis having testified in 24 jurisdictions throughout the United States.
A successful entrepreneur, Dr. Sinha previously established and served as President and Lab Director of ReliaGene Technologies, an accredited DNA testing laboratory located in New Orleans, LA, until it was acquired by Orchid Cellmark in 2007. At ReliaGene, Dr. Sinha commercialized multiple molecular diagnostic tests as well as PCR amplification genotyping kits for regulated markets (human identification/forensic DNA), including the first commercial Y-STR DNA profiling kit for forensic use (Y-PLEX). He was a member of the Y-STR database consortium established by the National Institute of Justice, and awarded an export promotion award by the U.S. Department of Commerce for this DNA testing kit.
Dr. Sinha’s academic background includes a Ph.D. in Chemistry and post-doctorate training at the University of Miami Medical Center. He is currently a member of the State of Louisiana MediFund Board as well as a Fellow of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences. He is also an adjunct Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Tulane University’s School of Medicine.
Anne H. Montgomery, M.S.

She is a court-qualified expert in molecular biology and DNA analysis, having testified over 150 times in numerous jurisdictions throughout the United States. These cases included testimony for both prosecution and defense counsel. Her professional experience includes being a member of the 2005 Hurricane Victims’ DNA Identification Expert Group, Lead DNA Laboratory Auditor and Scientific Consultant for numerous agencies and organizations. She is a longtime member of the American Association of Forensic Sciences and the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors.
Gina Murphy, M.S.
Ms. Murphy is a court-qualified expert in molecular biology and DNA analysis with over 17 years of experience in the human identity field, having testified over 100 times in numerous courts throughout the United States, Canada, and Australia. These cases involved civil and criminal matters and included testimony for both prosecution and defense counsel.
Previously, Ms. Murphy held the positions of Assistant Laboratory Director and Technical Leader at two private DNA companies, ReliaGene Technologies and Orchid Cellmark. She is qualified as a Lead Laboratory Assessor for ANSI/ASQ Forensic Quality Services, and an auditor for the Canadian accreditation body, Standards Council of Canada. She also provides training for forensic DNA scientists and attorneys and serves as a consultant for various government crime laboratories. She is a fellow of the American Association of Forensic Sciences (AAFS).
Sid Sinha, M.B.A.
Vice President, Operations
Sid Sinha has over 15 years of experience in various leadership and management roles in the genetic testing industries. Mr. Sinha most recently held the responsibility of Vice President, North America Forensics and R&D at Orchid Cellmark, where he worked from 2007 through 2012. During that time Mr. Sinha had P&L responsibility over the North America Forensics business unit and also directed the research and development group. Mr. Sinha was instrumental in identifying new revenue streams and strengthening Orchid's R&D initiatives by identifying contract research opportunities and securing grant funding. In 2010, Mr. Sinha was responsible for establishing a new high throughput DNA laboratory in Orchid's Dallas facility to process DNA samples for offender databanking. He received a BS from Cornell University and has a joint MBA from Columbia Business School and the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley.
Jonathan S. Tabak
Vice President, Commercialization
Jonathan has an outstanding track record of success in the life sciences/applied genomics industry over the last 15 years. Prior to joining InnoGenomics, he led global technical marketing and product marketing teams at Thermo Fisher Scientific (formerly Life Technologies) and Applied Biosystems that enabled successful commercialization of over 25 next generation human identification (HID) products in over 115 countries. In these roles, he engaged with hundreds of forensic scientists and thought leaders to develop programs and products targeted at solving complex forensic challenges. This led to the introduction of multiple chemistry, software, and equipment systems that have advanced the field of forensic testing and facilitated the implementation of DNA databases.
Like the other InnoGenomics founders, Jonathan’s career has also included a successful stint at ReliaGene Technologies, where he served as Forensic Marketing & Sales Director.
